Known for her pace and accuracy, Chameera delivered a beauty to send her fellow Sri Lankan back to the pavilion. Bowling on the wicket, Chameera bowled a good length ball over the stumps for a zero.
An aggressive left-handed batsman, Perera failed to move his feet effectively and tried to defend with a slightly angled bat. Unfortunately, the ball took a thick inside edge and uprooted leg stump. The Capitals celebrated with joy, knowing they had secured the key player’s goal.

MI Emirates rebuild after early setbacks
Despite the early setback, MI Emirates managed to rally and reached 91/2 at the end of the 11th over. Their middle-order batsmen began stabilizing the innings, focusing on the spin of the batting, taking calculated risks.
