West Ham boss Graham Potter approves Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall signing

West Ham United manager Graham Potter has set to work to save the Hammers’ season.

They had a poor start to the season under Julen Lopetegui, even after spending heavily on new signings during the summer transfer window last year.

Under the Spanish manager, the Hammers never developed into a consistent team and despite some positive results in patches this season, they struggled to match the level expected of them.

Potter has now arrived at the London Stadium and has given fans hope for a bright future.

The Hammers are targeting a move for the Chelsea midfielder, who has been out of favor at Stamford Bridge this season.

According to the independentWest Ham want to sign Chelsea midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall this month.

The midfielder joined the Blues alongside manager Enzo Maresca from Leicester City, but his move to the Premier League has not worked out well.

He has failed to play for Maresca this season and could leave the club just months after joining.

The Hammers could offer the midfielder the perfect opportunity to continue his Premier League career.

Potter’s team can give him the game time he needs this season and if all goes well for player and club, he could become Potter’s first signing at West Ham.

Dewsbury-Hall was instrumental in Leicester’s Championship winning season, scoring 12 goals and providing 14 assists.

He was expected to hit the ground running at Chelsea, but Maresca has preferred other midfielders over him and at a club like Chelsea, competition for a place in the starting line-up is fierce.

The midfielder could inspire the Hammers to climb the league table in the second half of the season.

Potter’s side has been too linked with a move from Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford.

West Ham agreed a transfer deal with Arsenal, but the player had other plans
