HomeBoxing Boxing Did Gervonta Davis Just Cancel His Fight With Lamont Roach? By NetSPORT December 23, 2024 0 2 FacebookTwitterPinterestWhatsApp By Chris Williams – 23/12/2024 – Commentary Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis posted on Instagram that his March 1 fight with Lamont Roach has been cancelled. Davis (30-0, 28 KOs) did not explain why his fight was canceled. Tank’s message: “The fight is f****n cancelled.” Fans on social media greeted the cancellation with joy. They don’t want to see this albatross, especially since it’s on PPV. They see it as a mismatch, with the light-punching, super featherweight Roach (25-1, 10 KOs) standing no chance. This problematic fight has already been rescheduled once from its original date of December 14th, and fans have criticized it since day one.
