Tottenham are monitoring Jack Grealish’s situation at Man City as the 29-year-old may not have a future at the Premier League club ahead of the 2025/26 season.

The English talent has been at the Manchester club since 2021 after moving to the Etihad Stadium as part of a major £100m bid with Aston Villa. The winger’s time in Manchester has been up and down, with the 2022/23 campaign arguably his best in a City shirt.

The arrivals of Jeremy Doku and Savinho have complicated Grealish’s situation at Man City, as the England international’s place in Pep Guardiola’s starting XI is far from certain.

The current season has not started well for the Grealish ace the winger has suffered an injury in recent weeks and prior to that, the former Villa star had not been involved in the goalscoring effort, producing just two assists in the 10 games he has appeared in.

There is a lot of uncertainty at Man City heading into 2025 and one is Grealish’s future. The 29-year-old is under contract at the Etihad until 2027, but clubs like Tottenham are monitoring his situation.

Will Man City star Jack Grealish end up at Tottenham next summer?

Former Premier League scout Mick Brown has provided an update on Grealish’s future, claiming the winger is someone Tottenham are “tracking” ahead of the 2025 summer transfer window. A move to January is highly unlikely, but possible once the 2024/25 campaign is over.

talking with Football Insider On the English talent, Brown said: “If City decide he no longer has a role to play there, he could leave.

“We know what Jack is giving them by playing more of a support role, but if they decide they can get the money back, that’s their decision.

“He would definitely be an asset to Tottenham and he’s one of the players they’ve followed. He would help stop that basketball thing where he goes from one end of the field to the other. That’s one of their problems, they can score a lot , but they also concede too much.”

The former scout went on to say: “But say they can give the ball to Jack, who can make sense of it. He drags the play forward and then he can win a free kick or slow things down a bit.

“That would make a huge difference in his favour. The manager is also keen to add a bit more depth in wide areas. So from what I’ve heard he’s who they’ll make a move for if he’s available.”
