Ramandeep has been a rising star in cricket especially after his impressive performances in the IPL 2024 season. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)he played a crucial role in their title-winning campaign. He batted brilliantly for the Knight Riders, scoring 125 runs at an excellent strike rate of over 201 in just 14 matches. His ability as a finisher and his contributions with the ball made him an attractive prospect for the national team.
Before making his debut, Ramandeep showcased his skills in various domestic tournaments, including the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and the Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2024, where he performed consistently well and earned the recognition of the selectors.

“We have one change – Ramandeep is making his debut. Avesh performed well for us, but one of the two bowlers had to sacrifice.” India’s captain Suryakumar Yadav said after the defeat.
“We played well in the last two games when we batted first. The boys came out with clear plans and they are implementing them, I am very pleased with that.” he added.
