The 2024 Major League Baseball season ended with the Los Angeles Dodgers lifting the World Series trophy by defeating the New York Yankees in five games.
With the offseason now underway, free agency will feature plenty of players who will potentially change teams before the 2025 season.
The Dodgers’ league starting lineup could be one of those players wearing a different uniform next season.
Right-handed hitting threat Teoscar Hernandez appears to be drawing interest from two specific American League teams.
According to MLB Network’s John Morosi, Hernandez is being pursued in free agency by the Boston Red Sox and Baltimore Orioles.

Hernandez is fresh off a World Series victory in his first season in a Dodgers uniform.
The right-handed power threat hit .272 with 33 home runs, 99 runs batted in and an .840 on-base plus slugging percentage during the regular season.
Hernandez appears to be drawing interest from several American League East teams that could benefit from adding the right-handed power hitter next offseason.
The Orioles are coming off a regular season in which they won 91 games, but they lost in the first round of the playoffs for the second straight year.
Alternatively, the Red Sox are coming off a regular season in which they won 81 games and missed the postseason for the third straight season.
Both of these teams have some left-handed power hitters in Rafael Devers and Gunnar Henderson.
Hernandez could potentially move from the National League to the American League if he signs a deal with one of these AL East teams.
