In the latest development as per reports in Sports Tak, Shreyas Iyer is learned to have demanded a huge price from Kolkata Knight Riders. However, the franchise could not pay that much and hence he was not retained.
Reports claimed that Shreyas Iyer demanded INR 30 crore Kolkata Knight Riders. This made the team management reluctant to keep him with the team. Both sides engaged in many discussions but did not reach a conclusion.
