MotoGP: Drivers’ preview of Thailand’s PT Grand Prix – Road Racing World Magazine

The final three races of this amazing 2024 MotoGP™ campaign have arrived and Round 18 brings us back to the beauty of it: Buriram and the Thai Grand Prix of Thailand. Ahead of a scorching weekend of action, we’ve got the lowdown on the top contenders and another crucial three-day preview.

Prescospin’s leading hormond Mothog (Grema Pramed Mothogram) and Australian GP They lost. (Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team) and Luca Marini (Repsol Honda Team) discussed at press conference 2.

George Martin (Prima Pramac Racing)
Buriram had one of the strongest weekends of the season last year, how confident are you of your ability to repeat the tribune and how big will it be for the World Championship?
“I’m still happy to fight for this world championship. Coming from Indonesia, Japan and Australia, I am having a great time. Australia was very good, I wanted to win, but it was very difficult. I’m sure in this race, it’s going to be really tough and hot, and both Marc and Peco are going to be very strong, so I think it’s going to be a tough weekend.

Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team)
How important is it for George not to lose points and do you feel you can show your full potential this weekend?
“The aim is to get back points and be competitive, we know this track is better for me in terms of performance. I’ve been on the podium at Phillip Island in the last three seasons, but I haven’t always been fast, and I’ve been struggling more or less every year and more this year. I went to the wrong place on Saturday. We got going and it was very late on Sunday, and these two guys were fast. I had to slow down and finish the race, which I like, and I like the layout, so hopefully we’ll have a good weekend.

MARC MARQUEZ (Gresini Racing MotoGP™)
How high are your hopes of being in the fight again, and do you expect another final to be decisive?
“It will be very difficult, because if these two guys want to fight for the victory, it will make the level very high. But we will try to continue our progress, the last races were very good, we were consistent and fast to fight for the podium, so let’s see if we can fight for the podium here.

BRAD BINDER (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing)
We know it’s a track that works for KTM and yourself, so what do you think could happen this weekend?
“I think this district did a good job not only last year, but before that. In general, I feel pretty good, we come to this competition very prepared; We’ve tried a few things at Phillip Island, and it looks like we’ve made some small steps forward. I’m really looking forward to getting back on the bike here, and my goal will be to put together a strong weekend. It would be great to fight for the win again, of course, that’s my goal, and I definitely plan to try hard to try and make up the difference this weekend.

Fabio Di Giannantonio (Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team)
How motivated and determined are you to finish your season with another season?
“It was an amazing weekend for us at Phillip Island. It was great to be back at the level we were at until we fell in Austria this year, so I’m very proud of our return. Also, there’s a bit of sadness that I didn’t have to end my season earlier or miss a few races due to injuries in my career. I’m fully motivated to do a good job this weekend, I want to give the maximum to myself and the team, and I’m missing last year so it would be great to finish the season on the podium.

Luca Marini (Repsol Honda Team)
Is it possible or realistic to fight for a top 10 finish this weekend?
“I think we have to wait until Friday because every time we’re on a different track we have to prepare the bike and understand our performance in that situation. But we’ve made a big step in these last races. The bike has improved a lot, and it rides great, but it still lacks some performance.” “This is a track that uses a lot of bike power, and we need to understand the grip level. If we can get a good deal on the bike, that will be our first target, and if you start from a good grid position, the race can be positive.”
