West Indies veteran Deandra Dottin added strength to the middle order with her aggressive batting, while West Indies’ Afy Fletcher was one of the most economical bowlers of the tournament, picking up key wickets with her clever variations.
New Zealand’s Rosemary Mair and Australia’s Megan Shutt round out the bowling attack, both players performing consistently, particularly in high-pressure situations. Mair’s ability to swing the ball and Schutt’s accuracy with his yorkers made them invaluable assets to their team. Mair’s teammate and right-arm spinner Eden Carson was named as the team’s 12th player.
