South Africa’s steady start with the ball

Bangladesh’s batting line-up weakened earlier in the day as they were bundled out for just 106 in their first innings. South Africa’s bowlers put in a clinical performance, their attack proving too much for the Bangladeshis. Wian Mulder, Kagiso Rabada and Keshav Maharaj Each of them were outstanding performers with three goals. while Dane Piedt Maharaj, who added a wicket to the tally, was the most economical, conceding just 2.10 runs per over, contributing to Bangladesh’s downfall.

After dismissing Bangladesh, the Proteas cautiously started their first innings. However, they faced their own challenges as Mahmood’s brilliant bowling continued to keep the pressure on the hosts. At the end of the second session, South Africa were 65 for the loss of two wickets. The team is still trailing by 41 runs at the tea break as the match heads into the final session of the day.
