The Los Angeles Dodgers advance to the World Series after defeating the New York Mets in the National League Championship.
Sunday’s game six win saw the Dodgers extend their four-game streak to two with another sweep of the Mets.
Dodgers utility player Tommy Edman was named the NLCS Most Valuable Player, which may come as a surprise with all the big names in this Dodgers lineup.
Edman had an honest confession to make about cleaning up this team with all-star power.
“I’ve never cleaned in my life this year,” Edman said.

Edman described the jokes the team made when it was announced he would be on the cleanup.
With names like Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman and Teoscar Hernandez on the roster, it’s understandable that Edman was shocked by his place in the lineup.
Edman found himself in the cleanup spot, but he had a two-hitter with five hits, one home run, two runs scored and four runs scored on Sunday.
The Dodgers continue to play the New York Yankees in an attempt to win their eighth World Series title in franchise history.
If Freeman returns to the lineup for Game 1, it appears that Edman will be moved back into the lineup.
Edman’s performance gives fans an idea of how deep this Dodgers lineup is, and they are all capable of hitting big home runs.
The first game will be played on Friday at Dodger Stadium.
