Separate training time for round 1
JJ Spaun broke through with his second PGA Tour win this season, and first since 2022, and it was a big win. Spaun triumphed at the 2025 US Open at Oakmont, which helped him finish 25th in the final FedEx Cup standings.
It also helped earn him a spot on his first US Ryder Cup team, where he went 2-1-0 as one of the highlights from the Americans’ loss to Bethpage Black.
Spaun will play the first two rounds of the Tech World Championship alongside one of his Ryder Cup teammates, Ben Griffin. Griffin is also the betting favorite this week in Mexico.
Spaun tees off for the opening round Thursday at 9:15 a.m. ET along with Griffin and William Mouw.
You can watch Thursday’s first round of the 2025 Tech World Championship from 3-6pm ET on the Golf Channel. You can also stream a live simulcast of Golf Channel’s coverage through NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app.
