Commentator Tim Bradley was impressed with the way in which the undisputed Superbantamweight Champion Naoya inoue returned to win after being beaten by Ramon Cardenas (26-2, 14 COs) in the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas last Sunday night.
Inoue (30-0, 27 COs) ensured that he was not beaten with another large left side of the Challenger Cardenas like the one with which he dropped. The Japanese star inoue finally carried him with speed, combination punch and volume to get an eighth round technical knockout.
Weekend Savior
Bradley warns that Inoue, 31, cannot continue to hit Cardenas as he moves to featherweight and follows the titles in that section. Time says the fighters in the 126 pound division hit harder and will be more difficult for the small inoue to hit them.
Inoue has already said that he will remain at 122 as long as he can make weight. It will probably be the rest of his career because he does not have a problem with weight control.
“That’s what we want. We want to be entertained. It was definitely entertaining, ‘the commentator Tim Bradley said Fight Hub TV About Naoya Inoue’s fight against Ramon Cardenas last Sunday night at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. “I thought it was a good performance.”
Inoue’s fight against Cardenas brought fans the drama they missed after watching two Vaal events last Friday in New York and Saturday in Riyadh. Inoue and WBO featherweight champion Rafael Espinoza rescued their fights this weekend.
Featherweight warning
“You can’t be hit with the shots,” Bradley said in the second round in the second round. “You can’t be hit with the shots and go off that way. Seriously, especially against these guys.
The way Naoya fought in the first round was unaware of how dangerous a puncher Cardenas were. He missed inoue with a few home games with his left, and you could see that he would sooner or later catch the monster “inoue and put him on the deck. In the second round it happened, but Naoya could rise and survive the rest of the round.
“How he could get up, I’m going to give him credit. He got up, ‘Bradley said about Naoya. “He did the same he did with (Luis) Nery (after being dropped off by him last year). He broke this man, and he could drive him away. “
Cardenas’s punch that dropped inoue was much more difficult than the one who put him down last year. He was hit hard by Cardenas with a left hand that landed clean. What made it more devastating is that he doesn’t see the punch coming.
“However, you (inoue) want to rise to 126, and you want to try to dominate the division,” Bradley says, warning Inoue about the rise to featherweight. ‘There are some lions therealso. Dudes that can take you well. Remember, he is a little man who goes up. It is challenging for him. The man was tonight as if he didn’t really hit the single blows. ‘
We saw one of the Lions on the bottom map, WBO featherweight champion Rafael Espinoza, which would be a pure nightmare for inoue if he moved to 126 and looked at a world title in his direction. It is doubtful that inoue would be crazy enough to tackle the 6’1 “Espinoza because he would know that the man was too big.
Whose victory
“It was more of an accumulative effect,” Bradley said of Inoue. “It was more the combinations and the speed with which he hits you. It’s frustrating. It burns quickly, it’s accurate, and it’s on the point. It’s hard to do with. However, you have seen where there are moments where you can use inoues. You need to know them, ‘says Bradley.
Cardenas used one of those moments in the second round to beat him down. However, he did not once again succeed in catching inoues with a similar punch for the rest of the fight. This is his fault because he pulls back to the ropes too often to get a chance to win.
‘You must have film study and know them and recognize them. Great finish, ‘Bradley said about Inoue. “He’s different. He is an animal. Inoue, after the performance? I don’t think he’s a pound-by-pound ( #1). I think usyk is a pound-by-pound #1. I think Crawford is behind him, and I think inoue is #3. Fantastic night. My Gosh, (Rafael) Espinoza and Inoue saved this weekend. ‘
Even with a film study of Inoue, it will be difficult to defeat him unless you are big like Rafael Espinoza or have one -time power. There is no one at 122 or 126 who has enough pop to do more than Cardenas did. The biggest problems that would be in the featherweight are the size of the fighters, and in Espinoza’s case is the volume that has beaten.
