Yes, Jon Rahm was elected to Ryder Cup. But what was it behind him on TV?

But ae you caught what was behind Jon Rahm’s shoulders while he was selected European Ryder Cup team of this year? Announcement Nick Doughery had seen him before Rahm joined the Sky Sports broadcast on Monday, then asked about this after Rahm’s time was running out.

“Is this a Yoda baby that is behind your head there?”

Rahm then moved to his right and laughed. It was, though Yoda spoke in the first two paragraphs of this story could have given it away.

There are some questions here, of course.

First, who is Baby yoda? He is one of the fictional stars of Disney Plus show “Mandorian”, And he will yield inside a movie next year. His real name is GROG. (Yes, the author has watched the show.) So why is he called Baby Yoda? That’s because he seems to be young and he has a resemblance to Yoda, one of the imaginary stars of Star Wars. (Yes, the author has watched all the movies.)

Ok, so how did Rahm answer Doughety’s question?

He proudly explained what was behind him. There were other pictures. But the baby Yoda, described through a painting, was front and in the center.

“A little by a Star Wars fan here in the office,” Rahm said.

“And there is not enough Darth Vader with 6 feet, but may or may not be in the corner of the room.”

Really? How much is a fan of “Star Wars” is Rahm?

At a press conference after notifying television, a demanding mind wanted to know.

“Not as much as you would think,” said Rahm, “but I have a Darth Vader behind the computer screen a little away, but it’s there.

“I started when I was young. Unlike many fans because I was quite young but old enough to see it, my first presentation at ‘Star Wars’ was ‘Phantom Menace’, which for strong essential fans could not be the best way to get inside.

“But I was young, and looking at the second trilogy, episodes 1 to 3 and fights Saber Light and all this before I realized even what put me or not.

“One of the characters who is, again, maybe not the most liked as a kid, was my favorite, Jar Jar Binks. So I got into it, or not. I was a kid and that character is really, really fun.

“It was actually during Covid, Kelley (his wife) had never seen the movie, and I made them watch them all. And we looked at the latest trilogy Disney made together and I got a new appreciation for the original trilogy. But I am always a little one -sided to the second, since he got me.”
