India opener Yashasvi Jaiswal scored a magnificent hundred during the first Test between Australia and India in Perth. He scored 161 off 297 balls in the second innings of the match and helped India set a mammoth target against Australia.
Jaiswal hit an uppercut for a six over the keeper’s head to reach three figures. But he wasn’t sure if the ball was going for a four or a six and had to wait for the umpire’s signal.
As soon as the six was confirmed, Yashasvi Jaiswal took off his helmet and threw his arms up in celebration. She blew kisses to her fans and decided to savor the moment.

Yashasvi Jaiswal, speaking to Australian television presenter Mark Howard, spoke about the moment when he reached his hundred with a six over the goalkeeper’s head. Jaiswal revealed that he wanted to do some celebrations after reaching his century but was left confused.
“Yes, it was (unusual) a hundred breeding methods. I thought I’m going to do this or I’m going to do that, and then suddenly something happened and I said, oh my god, what should I do? Do it,” Jaiswal told PTI. quoted.
Finally, Jaiswal decided to stay in the moment and soak in the applause. he claims to have enjoyed the moment and hopes to remember it for a long time.
“So I said, OK, I’m just going to celebrate and enjoy this moment. I’m blessed, I’m grateful, I’m happy, that feeling will stay with me for a long time. Kisses to all my friends, to all my loved ones, to all my fans who support me, just to them I wanted to kiss my love,” he said.

Yashasvi Jaiswal later shared his thoughts on his tough past and claimed that it gave him the confidence to fight and come out of any scenario. He enjoys being in fights and has a hunger to win.
“It’s something that gives me confidence that I can always come out of any situation (his story). I always fight, I always watch to fight, I want to be in the fight, I want to enjoy the fight and I want to win. The fight,” said Jaiswal.
“So it gives me, and I’m really happy that I have this life, a lot of confidence in me, learning about myself, how to believe in myself and how to go through different emotions, different situations in my life,” he added.
Test career of Yashasvi Jaiswal
Yashasvi Jaiswal has had a great start to his Test career. The century in the Perth Test is his fourth in 15 Tests. The left-handed opener has scored 1568 runs at a brilliant average of 58.07. He has scored 4 hundred and 8 fifties so far.
Jaiswal was dismissed for a duck in the first innings in Perth but came back strongly to score a brilliant hundred in the second innings. India will expect him to score a lot in the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy Tests.
