Yamaha faces a ‘big’ challenge ahead of MotoGP shake-up in Malaysia


Yamaha has been a bit behind the MotoGP curve in recent times and their performance has taken a hit because of it.

They’ve decided enough is enough for 2025, and will finally introduce a V4 engine in line with what their rivals at Ducati, Aprilia and KTM have been running.

Yamaha faces a ‘huge’ MotoGP challenge to build two engines at the same time.

It means they have an open mind for 2027, and any engine can be adopted for the new set of regulations.

They now have V4 experienced drivers in their ranks. Miller And Miguel Oliveira at Pramac and Rins at his factory team are all set to give feedback compared to what they’ve run before and it could be a big plus.
