Driver: Title TSR3
of Title TSR3 considered the best player model in the Titleist driver lineup. It has an adjustable center of gravity that helps top players fine tune the sweet spot. As well as the TSR3 performs for PGA Tour players, it also appealed to amateur players in our 2024 testing.
The TSR3 was the fourth best overall golf driver of 2024. It ranked high for distance and forgiveness (consistency). Accuracy was not her strong point, which cost her a top three finish.
end: Overall, the TSR3 is a great driver for amateur gamers. If you like fit and are looking for something that balances durability and distance, it would be one to try.
Freeway wood: TaylorMade Qi10
of TaylorMade Qi10 fairway wood it’s not just in Clark’s bag, but Scottie Scheffler’s too. In our testing, it was accurate, long and forgiving. Most golfers who put a loose wood in their bag will take any extra space they can get (both for approach shots and tee shots).
The Qi10 was third overall for distance and fourth for accuracy. It’s rare to find fairway woods that have accuracy and distance.
end: Green light on Qi10 freeway wood! It checks the boxes for both amateur and professional players.
Useful iron: Mizuno Pro Fli-Hi
Clark plays the Mizuno Pro Fli-Hi utility iron. The Pro Fli-Hi is designed for top players and should transition seamlessly into some of the Mizuno iron sets like the Pro 241 or 243. Clark plays Titleist irons, but he had to bridge the gap between the 4-iron wood and the Qi10. .
of Mizuno Pro Fli-Hi was tested in our best iron testing and it didn’t perform that well for amateur players. The Pro Fli-Hi finished 13th out of 16 utility irons. It was relatively forgiving, but struggled with accuracy and distance.
end: Utility Irons aren’t for everyone, and the Mizuno Pro Fli-Hi might be better suited for pros.
Irons: Title T-100
of T-100 handcuffs were the most forgiving irons of the players we tested in 2024. They earned a top-five finish overall despite struggling with distance. They were the shortest player iron of 2024. Sometimes, if you want accuracy and consistency, you have to sacrifice a little distance.
Clark seems to have too much top speed to make the T-100 handcuffs work for his game.
Last line: A good choice for faster swing players who prioritize forgiveness in a player’s iron.
Wedge: Title Vokey SM10
Clark has three SM10 wedges (in addition to his Vokey Design WedgeWorks wedge). of SM10 took third place overall in our 2024 testing.
of SM10 was the most accurate wedge of 2024, meaning it had the best Strokes Gained performance across the board. It was also the best wedge for sound, feel and look.
Last line: Vokey design points are never the cheapest, but pros love them for a reason. They look, sound and feel great while delivering tour-level torque.
Putter: Odyssey Jailbird 380
of Odyssey Jailbird 380 is a limited edition publisher that Rickie Fowler and Wyndham Clark have used. The clip features a 380 gram head, making it heavier than the original model which weighed 355 grams.
It comes standard at 39 inches long and is equipped with a 17-inch long SuperStroke grip, classifying it as a counterbalanced putter.
The Jailbird 380 didn’t make an appearance in our Best Hammer Shooting Test 2024. However, the Odyssey Ai-ONE Jailbird Mini was included in the test and had a solid performance from five, 10 and 20 feet.
