There is a fun story from the 2007 Cup 2007 at the Royal County Down in which Rory Mcilroy and Billy Horschel, both not yet 21 years old, faced three of the four games.
During one of the fourth sessions, Horschel hit a bunker and sprayed toward the hole to see if it would fall, shouting “log in! Get inside!” the whole road. Mcilroy did not take care of the antiques, and a day later he opened their game of bachelors with an eagle and issued a scream of thunder.
“Ohh, I absolutely despised him,” Mcilroy said Golf A couple of years ago. “We’ve been getting really close since that time, which is great. We were all probably unbearable at the time, but because I was home and he was as rude with the crowd from time to time and they are my people. It was like,” I will beat his donkey. “But we actually created a really good friendship since that time.
Ok, then, what is the purpose of reviewing this moment in time? Judah is just a reminder that while Walker Cup is a very competitive and entertaining amateur event, it is also a chance to see and get to know a small piece of boys who can most likely play in your pros and cons. One day.
