The 23-year-old French atmane is spending the week of his life in Cincinnati Open. Southpaw with 136 rankings played excellent on Wednesday as he brought Taylor Fritz to the fourth Rang for his first Top-5, 3-6 7-5 6-3 victory.
It was the first Top-20 victory of ATMANA as well.
He has defeated Yoshihito Nishioka, Flavio Cobolli, Joao Fonseca and now Fritz, to reach his first 1,000 quarter -final masters.
ATMANE will face Holger Rune, Seed No. 7 in the last eight in Cincinnati.
