Speaking on the Beyond 23 Cricket Podcast, Michael Clarke praised Nitish Kumar Reddy for his batting performances and called for his promotion up the batting order. Clarke was impressed by Reddy’s handling of world-class Australian bowlers and batting down the order with the tailenders.
“(Nitish Kumar) Reddy, this young kid batting at number eight, is a genius. I think he should definitely bat seven, if not six. He’s been India’s leading run-scorer at 21, incredible. He’s been underrated all series,” Clarke said.
