“Bilateral series have a different pressure and for World Cups, there is pressure as well as the expectations and hopes of the fans. We are working hard to live up to these expectations, holding camps where all the players work hard.
“We also worked on the mistakes we made last time. Now we are ready with a positive mindset” remarked the Indian.
The Indian women’s team has made significant progress in recent years, reaching the final of the 2020 Women’s T20 World Cup. However, the elusive title remains a goal for the team. Harmanpreet’s leadership and experience will be instrumental in guiding the team through the tournament.
