As for Americans, it is unclear who will take over after Bradley is done with his captain’s duties. Mickelson’s name will continue to come out, but Johnson Wagner is not sure if Mickelson would be capable given everything that has happened since his appearance for Liv.
“I mean, think of the players who would be in the American team he would catch and probably feel like he abandoned them and tried to burn the house down on the way out,” Wagner told Golf Knost and Drew Stoltz in the last episode. “Like, I think it’s a little harder to have a liv player as captain.”
Wagner believes Rose would be a “mindless” to be Ryder Cup’s other captain for the European team in 2027 in Adare Manor.
