It is with heavy and weary hearts that we restart our preparations for the next disappointing race at Misano with tire pressure issues, stupid positioning and the fact that it was two weeks ago.
But can the latest media frenzy from Valentino Rossi keep us from spiraling into a coma? Let’s find out…
God Misano is a scary road. How does it come?
Misano is universally accepted as the worst track on the GP calendar. It was once an average track that was ‘a bit narrow’. Then they reversed the direction and made him a perfect dog.
Why do they do that?
Wayne Rennie, who was new to GP racing at the time, made it public that after the accident at Misano Dorna ended his career, GP racing would not return to this track under any circumstances. no way. hardly ever.
But a few years later, with Rossi Mania hitting, Dorna, looking to cash in on the events that brought loads of new and prestige-seeking fans, thought Misano would be a good place to run a race. But how can you find the statement you gave before? Easy! Run the race in the opposite direction and tell everyone it’s a completely different track…. A very different and actually opposite meaning is that if Rennie fell now, he could probably walk again.
Isn’t that a stupid idea?
Taking the track and running the opposite reduced it from an average circuit to absolutely terrifying. Fortunately the fan base didn’t mind – they just weren’t interested in the Russian.
And tire pressures?
Yes, for some reason this circuit is an F1 fan’s wet dream as it is impossible to follow another driver due to tire pressures.
So, all things considered, Misano is awful. What could make it worse?
Of course there is a second race to run! And that is what is happening.
TPLF! A second race?
Yes. This allows all teams to use the information from the previous tournament two weeks in advance, ensuring that any surprises are eliminated by skill. This should allow for more boring and mine-driving racing.
I think I’m going to jump off a bridge. How can this be saved?
Valentino Rossi!
wait what How does Michael Jackson of MotoGP make the upcoming races more interesting?
Hate!
Oh… explain…
This week, Rossi, 76, again attacked the despised name Marc Marquez. In a long and somewhat boring rant, the elderly Italian confirmed that the events of 2015, which took place a decade ago, are far from over.
Here are some highlights of his latest rant:
- In particular, I heard (Marc Marquez’s manager Emilio) Alzamora walking around the paddock saying, ‘Now that we (Marquez) are not champions, he (Rossi) won’t win.’
- “Marquez was so dominant that he did (the whole) fight with me. He made me lose and then he won.
- “If they thought I dropped Marquez on purpose, they would have made me do it, but I didn’t and they took the last first place in Valencia. They cut my legs, I lost the world championship.
- It was Marquez with his head down. I told him that by doing this, they would carry it with them for the rest of their career; Because the sport is disgusting to let someone else lose.
- “The moment they finally told me I was going to start, he looked up at Alzamora and smiled and nodded as if to say, ‘We did it.'”
- “Usually those who did some things did it for themselves, they were dirty for their own gain, because they wanted to win.
- “Nobody’s as dirty as him.”
What a child Jesus Christ is. But why is he saying all this now?
The once-respected Italian sees the threat that Marquez could win one or more championships this season and leapfrog him on the list of all-time greats. So the ‘dentist’ launched another smear campaign to incite hostility against the Spaniard.
But how does this help the competition? Will this stop me from being bored to death and pondering my life choices?
Hate!
Oh… again?
Yes!
First the 98% yellow crowd continues to curse and yell at the Spanish Antichrist…and his brother. Rossi is hoping this weekend that Marc gets into his helmet and does something like a Ram rider…which is completely out of character.
Then there are the VR46 Neverland Academy drivers…
They are suggesting that Bagnaia might do something interesting and deliberately destroy Marquez’s brother.
It seems that IPCO is above such nonsense. However, some ‘go-nowhere’ riders like Marco Bezecchi or Frankie Morbidelli may choose to make the ultimate sacrifice and take themselves and Marc to please their god.
It all seems a little strange. What about Luca Marinis?
He would probably get a headache not to ride the Honda.
So basically this is Rossi’s attempt to use mind games to beat Marquez? Does this work?
2015 says no…
