You have heard this on this platform before but There are no “best” In terms of golf clubs.
In this full-ended Golf episode, Johnny Wunder explained why the Golf club ranking by “What’S is the best” is simply not helpful.
“It’s a photo in time and it’s not – it’s not good for players to rank golf clubs, especially these days,” Wunder said. “Now, 50 years ago, it would have been an argument because there were bangers, there were losers, there were people who simply had bad ideas.
“These days, even bad ideas are bangers. As, they’re all good.”
Almost for every golf club on the market can help someone achieve a Specific purpose with their game. Likewise, not every golf club will look “good” for everyone because it may not be designed for that specific golf player or what the golf wants to do.

Most of these “best” lists are simply based on a few days or a week of testing with specific players. Not necessarily a comprehensive sample. Even with a massive player testing effort, it is not possible to consider all the potential factors they can play if a club works well for someone or not.
“What is happening, however, with these hot lists is that it gives you the stigma that this received four stars, or it got a gold medal, or that got it,” Wunder said. “And it’s Bob and Betsy Ross in Arizona’s rank for two days, hitting nothing but drivers and 3-druits all day and that says nothing about them. They write in their small notes, they will go, it was good, that was right.
“With a different attic, with a different kind of head, with a different axis, at a different length, with a different ball. They are not getting into it at all. It is like, here’s a club, hit it, tell me what you think.”
That is why the fraud is to understand which one is right for you and with what settings, shafts and other factors that may be defined in an appropriate environment.

“What is best for golf players is more or less simply by encouraging them to go to adapt, give them as much information as possible and let them go there,” Wunder said.
