The subject came out when the co-worker of “Subpar” Drew Stoltz Asked Williams how he treated Woods when Woods was feeling troubled.

“Well, the only thing I have always noticed with Tiger when he was running a little warm is the adrenaline he would go,” Williams said. “And I could tell when the adrenaline was going, he would walk faster, he would talk faster, everything was done a little faster. And the biggest thing I did was arrange yard all the time.
“I was constantly doing it.”
In “Subpar,” Stoltz Williams asked if Woods knew what his veil was doing.
“Yes, it took some time to do it,” Williams said in Podcast. “The first time I did it, or the first moment in great time was in the 17th PGA 2000 championship when Tiger had that incredible battle with it Bob May. We arrived at that 17th hole. Yardage said it was a 56 -degree wedge and I just knew Tiger could get a 60 there. So I moved the yard again so that he could hit a full 60. He was the pin at the front there, and (his ball) barely cleaned the bunker and he makes birds and continues to win it in a play off. Now if I had been wrong, if they had been cheated and he hit him in the bunker, he would not know, but that was the first time I did.
“And then I can’t point out exactly when he asked me something about him and whatever, but he said you just keep doing it, you know what you are doing.”
After Williams said he arranged the yards for the whole round.
“I would fix the yard so often because he simply took the adrenaline by going and the ball began to go further and further,” he said in Subpar. “So I had to be extremely aware of this and I got a very good handle at the point that I can remember a round in Bay Hill in the last round of one of his victories there, I didn’t give him the right yard, the correct yard, in every blow to the whole round.”
The mass was not quiet, however, said Williams in Podcast.
“Now, you have to be careful when you are in a par-3,” he said, “and a boy is saying it is 195, that I know it would be, say, a 6-hekuri and I am telling Tiger that is only 183.
