IBO Super Middleweight Champion Osley Iglesias hopes to challenge the winner of the Canelo Alvarez against Terence Crawford match if he has conquered in his September 4, 2025, the final IBF 168-LB elimination against #2 ranking Vladimir Shishkin in Montreal Casino in Montreal, Canada.
Turki’s other plans
Iglesias is not yet a possible option for Canelo to fight in early 2026. Instead, Saudi Boxing Promotor Turki Alalshikh said that Hamzah sheeraz ‘deserves’ to fight Alvarez after his victory over Edgar Berlanga on July 12.
Turki also has the winner of the November 15 Rematch between Chris Eubank Jr. And called Conor Benn as a possibility of fighting Canelo. Osley Iglesias has the punching force and the amateur tribal tree from his long amateur career in Cuba to fight Canelo.

Iglesias seeks Canelo
“We’re going there to fight, hopefully he’s going to come to fight, but if I see he’s annoying (by fighting defensively), I’m going to eat him alive,” Osley Iglesias told Boxingnewsonline about his September 4 elimination for the IBF Super Middle Wight Belt.
“It’s going to be a big fight; none of my battles are boring,” Iglesias said. ‘If Canelo/Crawford is the opportunity after this fight, I will welcome it and continue, but I am not focused on it. If they give me the opportunity, I will be ready, and I hope they do. ‘
