Why Jake Paul’s fight against Chávez JR proves that he is bad for boxing

Piers Morgan: “Jake Paul kills boxing with these boring bulls ** T against older fighters past their lead.”

Jake Paul stepped in Anaheim about world titles and future greatness. Instead, fans got the same tired circus: a half-baked spectacle of a wannabe boxer that is more focused on the payment of checks than to actually test himself against someone who is dangerous.

Fans Boo Jake Paul’s boring clinic festival against Chávez jr

Julio César Chávez JR was not a serious threat in years. As Piers Morgan puts it:

“The man lays his bags with $$$ buckets. But he kills boxing with these boring bulls ** t”

Paul boasts knockout. What fans got was sloppy swing, endless embrace and chávez jr who threw less bumps than a mannequin. The crowd bent loudly, clearly tired of seeing Paul running his mouth and then playing Patty-Caek in the ring.

Piers Morgan shreds Jake Paul’s pathetic execution

Morgan did not hold back. After this pity apologies for a fight, Piers said:

“Break: I had a better battle with Jake Paul on Thursday than the irreparable farce that took place tonight.”

He is on the point. Paul chooses rinsed names, throws on a lightning promo-patrol and pretends to be storing boxing. Meanwhile, Dazn Milks fans are for pay-per-viewing money and laugh it up to the bank.

Jake Paul calls out champions after beating another ghost

After this pity mess, Paul grabs the microphone and vomits the same recycled nonsense:
“I want tougher fighters. I want to be world champion. Zurdo looked slowly like s ** t tonight. It will be easy. Badou Jack, I want everyone. Anthony Joshua, Gervonta (Davis), Tommy (Fury), Stop Running. ‘

Let’s dissect it:

  • He barely ended up on Chávez Jr., who seemed to be trained by eating tacos and watching Netflix.

  • He embraced more than he beat.

  • He threw less meaningful shots than a toddler with Wantjies.
But now he thinks he’s ready for Zurdo? Gevonta? Joshua? Someone looks at his drink.

Paul’s has a pattern – find a faded name, bass on social media, promise knockout, and then serve twelve rounds of dry toast. He is the answer from Boxing to Clickbait – loud, useless and always disappointing.

And Chávez jr? He should never be in a ring again. Lazy, unmotivated and completely uninterested. If he had not been some of Canelo’s sloppy seconds a decade ago, he would have tackled the parking lot in Tijuana for Burrito vouchers.

Final Word: Stop paying for this junk

Jake Paul’s entire act is built on lies.
He says he wants to “save boxing”. He does the opposite.
Every fight is trash – no interests, no risk, no danger. Just a cash grab dressed with influencer smoke and mirrors.

The sad part? People still pay.
But maybe they had enough now.
Maybe, after this horrible performance against a walking body like Chávez Jr., they will stop financeing this fake tough old routine.
