Yes, I know. Scottie Scheffler dominated 2025 diplomas, winning two of the four and never finishing off 10 Top 10. But when I brought out current note data from all four events, I was looking for something deeper.
I wanted to answer two questions:
- Just how better was Scheffler than everyone else?
- Who else quietly had a strong season of 2025, even if they didn’t win?
When you look at the cumulative results to attend any player who made the cut at least one major, some names will surprise you. Others did not play all four, but still joined the elite shows when they did. Here you have a look at the 10 players who played the best golf in diplomas this year, based on the total score in Par.

Scottie Scheffler: In a league of his
Let’s start with clear. Scheffler -32’s total in all four degrees was a statement. He won the PGA Championship in -11 and the open championship in -17, while finishing -8 in Masters and +4 in US Open.
No one else played all four diplomas and approached from its consistency or prevailing distance.

Who came the closest?
If you remove Schefflerin from this, who else had a strong big season? As Bryson approached, he did not even open the cut on the SH.BA a look at some of the other senior performers.
Bryson dechambeau (–22 over three degrees)
Bryson did not play in the open SH.BA, but he delivered it whenever he withdrew it. He posted –7 in the Masters, -6 in the PGA and –9 in Open where a round of opening 78 made things more difficult than they should have been. Without that round, this may have been a true showdown between Dechambeau and Scheffler.

Corey Conners (–16 over three degrees)
Corey Conners flew under the radar but his shows were solid. Canadian does not get much attention, but with results –5 in masters, –2 in PGA and –9 in the open, it should. He is the definition of “quietly brilliant” this season.
Ludwig åberg (–12 on two degrees)
At the beginning of the season, it seemed like Aberg could have an impressive year, but he only made two cuts. His total of –6 in Masters and –6 in Open earn him a five-place place on this list.
Rory Mcilroy (–11 on four degrees)
Rory’s big season was classic Rory: Flashes of Brilliance but a little messy. He completed –11 in Masters and –10 in Open but +3 in PGA and +7 in US Open shared it down the list. However, a top-point appeared in total kick under the money indicates that he was in the conversation.

Xander schauuffle (–10 over four degrees)
Schauffle plays well in large championships, but he could not attract a victory this year. He was still one of the most stable players throughout the year with -5 in masters, -1 in PGA, +6 in US Open and –10 in Open. He made the cut in all four and stayed steadily throughout. In fact, he has not lost a cut in nearly 70 starts.
The top 10 players who made the cut on all four majors of 2025
If you only count the players who make the cut in all four main championships this year, the list becomes much shorter. These are the players who not only appeared in every major, but played the weekend in all of them. When listed with the total result at the same time, you will see how far the scheffler is.
| compose | Player | Total |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Scottie Scheffler | –32 |
| 2 | Rory Mcilroy | –11 |
| 3 | Xander schauuffle | –10 |
| 4 | Ion Rahm | –66 |
| 5 | Harris English | –5 |
| T6 | Matt Fitzpatrick | –11 |
| T6 | Tyrrell Hatton | –11 |
| 8 | Jj spaun | +1 |
| T9 | Victor Hovland | +3 |
| T9 | Aaron Rai | +3 |
