George Kambosos jr. Confirmed on X today that his next battle for a world title against IBF Light Welterweight Champion will be Richardson on Hithins After taking care of his 12-round opponent Jake Wyllie on Saturday, March 22.

Wyllie (16-1, 15 CO’s) was recruited as the opponent of the former Unified Lightweight Champion Kambosos Jr. (21-3, 10 COs) after his initially scheduled enemy was pulled out with a disease today. It will be interesting to see how the little ’emperor’ does against Wyllie, because he had no preparation for his style, and he has been fighting at 140 since 2022.
George needs a showcase in this battle to get the box public excited about the fact that he is the IBF champion of 140 pounds, Richardson Hitchins (19-0, 7 COs), later this year for his belt for his belt. Hitchins are probably the King of the Light Welterweight Division, and its style is a mix of Shakur Stevenson and Terence Crawford. He can punch and box. A Knockout victory would be perfect for Kambosos on Saturday if he could gain power somewhere.
Kambosos, 31, comes from a ten -month dismissal after a bad performance in his eleventh round loss of Vasily Lomachenko on May 12 last year in Perth, Australia. George’s performance in that fight was much worse than his two losses against Devin Haney. Loma plays with Kambosos in that battle and school to school the whole battle before dropping him twice in eleven to get the standby. Who knows how much the devastation has taken out of Ferocious?
