It’s rare these days for former cricketers to clash with each other throughout their careers. But Yograj SinghFather of India’s famous all-rounder and former World Cup winner Yuvraj Singhhad caused controversy by revealing the shocking incident that took place between Kapil Dev. The former Indian captain responded without giving Yograj a direct reply.
Kapil Dev denied knowing Yograj Singh
Dev saw that he had come to the event and started a discussion with the journalists who surrounded him and demanded an answer to Yograj’s words. The former World Cup winner seemed to deliberately not understand what the journalists wanted to ask.
“Who is it? Who is he? What are you talking about? (Who is he? Who is he? Who are you talking about?” Dev asked as if he didn’t know who Yograj was. The paparazzi even told him that they were referring to Yograj, Yuvraj’s father, but Dev dodged what they wanted to ask.
But it seemed that the conversation between the former Indian captain and media persons had reached a point where questions for Dev were inevitable. He then proceeded to ignore the paparazzi calling out Yograj’s name and asked him if they wanted to ask for anything else.
“Accha, and how much? (Something else)” Dev’s reaction when reporters mentioned Yograj’s name. Kapil and Yograj played alongside each other for several years. In 1977, voters chose Yograj over Dev India’s U-22 team plays against England in Nagpur. Yograj made his debut Indian cricket team During the 1980 tour Australia and New Zealand. However, he was mysteriously removed from the team after the tour. Yograj played his last ODI for India on 15 February 1981 against New Zealand.

What did Yograj Singh say?
in an interview with Samdish BhatiaShe talked about her relationship with popular YouTuber Yograj Dev on her YouTube channel Unfiltered with Samdish.
“When Kapil Dev was the captain of India, North Zone and Haryana, he dropped me for no reason. My wife asked me to ask Kapil questions. I told him that I will teach this bloody man a lesson.” Yograj said during the interview.
“I drew my pistol; I went to Kapil’s house in sector 9. He came out with his mother. I have insulted him ten times. I told him that I lost a friend because of you, whatever you did, you will pay for it. I said to him, “I want to shoot you in the head, but I won’t, because you have a very religious mother here.” I told Shabna to go.” further adding, he disclosed the incident between him and Dev.
Yograj further added that the two former Indian cricketers have not met or contacted each other since then. But after India won the 2011 World Cup, Yograj sent a paper cut to Dev and said that his son (Yuvraj) was better than Dev.
“Kapil sent me a WhatsApp message saying that we will be brothers in the next life. We will be born from the same mother in the next life. He wanted to meet me. But there is revenge and it still hurts.” Yograj concluded.
