Erin, Wis. – We are through 54 holes in Erin Hills, and on Saturday, the conditions were brutal. Only one player posted a sub-70 round as the average note was over a more difficult blow than each of the previous two days. Maja Stark came out of the massacre as the leader of 54 holes in seven under, while Julia Lopez Ramirez is just a back blow, followed by a ladies from Japan and then World No. 1 nelly cord.
So who is scheduled to get the title to come Sunday evening? We have collected a couple of our employees in the country-Zephyr Melton and Nick Pastowski-to break them all.
Zephyr melton (@Zephyrmelton) :: Well Nick, that was a heck of a moving day. What were your biggest obstacles from round 3?
Nick pastowski (@nickpia) :: Erin Hills was getting! This must have been a hoot to see, if tested is your thing. The players mostly hung. Those who were in Rose considerably. Just look at Julia Lopez Ramirez-She was in the third group of the most gloomy from the first Tee-and on Sunday, it will be in the last pairing after a 68, the low round of the day. The thing is, too, it wasn’t really so smelly.
Melton: I agree. It felt like a proper day on the go, where if you posted a strong number, you could shoot the driver. The letters between the birds and the bogey were thin razors. What did you think about the configuration today? Was it right?
Pastowski: I would give it… a 7.5. The pins seemed right. Loved that No. 15 moved about 100 yards to make it mobile – and Esther Henselei did A slight mess of things There I did not like the green were double and left faster-the players looked unprepared, though maybe this is above them.
Melton: I loved Erin Hills had a small spice today. It (finally) felt like a proper open US test. More than tomorrow, please. What do you do from the manager’s table as we go to the last round?
Pastowski: This is taking no. 2. Really good! New talent. The main winners. Nelly. A dozen players five strokes back or better. Sunday should be a good theater.
Melton: It really feels like the cream is getting up on top – there was no jump there today. I like that there is no claimant near the leader’s top. Only the hitters. Nelly Korda fought in nine money while she came out to 40, but she jumped back with a 33 in the back to save the round. She’s just three shots back going to Sunday – what do you think about her chances?
Pastowski: Man, I dunno. It can win, or tie for 25. That said, if she trespasses the water early, she is my favorite for me going to the last nine holes. She’s hitting well. Its length plays here. The crowd wants it for it.
Melton: Her power cooled considerablely and felt as if she was again in this direction. I will say, if Nelly can make some strokes early and get that confidence, she could give her a serious Sunday run. If she hopes to win her first USWO, she will have to shoot New Sweden Maja Stark. What impressed you more about him today?
She loves dirty bicycles and non -lined discs, and she can win US OPEN
Pastowski: I find it unclear, it seems to me. Par is your friend in these things, and that is what she did. And I really love this quote, when asked about her mentality: “I just said myself when I get nervous about shots, I just say to myself, okay, but how can I make myself proud now.
Melton: The yeast appears in the full control of her game, and the statistics hold it as it is the positive blow gained in each category. That is to say, does anyone further down the leaders you think can make a run tomorrow?
Pastowski: Charley hull, why not? How fun it would be!
Melton: Gimme Gaby Lopez. She was one of the nine players who split on Saturday, and she did so with a trio on the card! She could make a serious run on her. Finally, who is your choice to raise the trophy tomorrow evening?
Pastowski: I’ll go … Nelly. She wins Major No. 3. In a play off over Stark.
Melton: Love optimism, but I don’t think it is in control enough in the greens. I will take Mao Saigo to complete the second match of Grand Slam.
