control Confidential golf tournament Sundayo on Sunday evening for the unfilnened thoughts of our writers and editors as they break down the hottest themes in the sport. This week, with masters in Augusta National, we will hit a main theme every night.
Justin Rose (seven under) runs masters, but some of the biggest names of the game will have to join the strong rounds on Friday to continue. Rory Mcilroy and Collin Morikawa lead the group to Par and Justin Thomas, Jordan Spieth and Xander Schauffle are all. Which Marquee player loads Friday’s running?
Zephyr Melton, Assistant Editor (@Zephyrmelton) :: I will go with Xander Schauffle. He was three more than 11, but he fought again to post one-on 73. Those kind of bold rounds are the ones that separate the best from the rest. I would wait for him to return and post something in the 1960s on Friday to get himself on the hunt.
Jack Harsh, editor of associate equipment (@Jr_bresany) :: Ludwig aberg The shooting of a 32 in the back nine to shoot 68 will be a problem. We forget the last guy who ended the second in his debut of the masters acquired in his second test (Spieth). I say he is in the lead going on the weekend with Scheffler nearby.
Josh Sens, elderly writer (@Jossens) :: Collin Morikawa played a quiet round today that ended with a trick. But he still ended at the same time, a reminder of how high he has decided this year. He approached last year. No reason to think that he will not be in the thickness of things as we spend the weekends.
Josh Schrock, editor of associate news (@Schrock_and_Awe) :: I want to say Rory, but the last four holes on Thursday were so disturbing that I can’t do it. The wind is completely from my navigations on that front. I’m going to go with Justin Thomas. JT did a really nice job to shoot 73 in a day where he was tearing it throughout Augusta National. We know he can get nuclear heated, and I think the closing bird on Thursday will push it to a Friday. Don’t be surprised if Victor Hovland, who is in one under, makes a move and is in one of the last couples on Saturday.
Jessica Marxbury, high editor (@Jess_Marksbury) :: I feel inspired by Bryson Dechambeau! Always is always difficult to appreciate how Liv players will pass in the first big year of the year, but Bryson seems to be getting where he left last year.
Alan Bastable, Executive Editor (@alan_bastable) :: Patrick reed shot one, despite wanting to throw his bad futter RAE’s Creek. If he can solve his beaten apartment, be careful!
