For 14 years, a bettinard was leading the show at Bettinard Golf, but things changed when founder Bob BettinardiThe boy, Sam, was ready to join the company.
In this week’s fully equipped golf episode, both bettinardis discussed their father-in-bir relationship and how it benefited their family company Over the past decade-plus.
Sam joined the company in 2013 And Bob said the first six years were for him learning the cords.
“And then from about five or six years after he came in, I said a lot,” Here you go. The trial with fire, “Bob said.” So Sam has run things. He is the President of Bettinard Golf, who is a great title, he deserves it. He has done a fantastic job. ”
Since taking over as the company president, while Bob holds CEO title, Bob says the company has grown with double figures each year. Their roles have evolved while things have continued.

“Now that I’m running the business. Bob is the bank,” joked Sam. “So if I go, I want to go Invest in this machinery Or we need more embroidery, we need more people, I will direct the numbers from it.
“And then where I think he’s very valuable now is the design because he’s doing it, you know, making layers since 1991 and then on our 27 -year -old brand. So when it comes to designing models for tournaments or new head shapes for a new series of production, after working with our engineering team, I will bless them, I will bless them, I will bless them, I say, “Hey, here we are thinking about next year.
“And he has always received little idea to form a muscle or to tear a bumper here or there, a high line thickness, to make it perfect. And I think he is really, really good at that, because again, he has gained it and he has experience there.”
Sam has heard criticisms that the second generation often “confuses it”, but he is sure he is attracting the family heritage line.

“This has always been a challenge,” Sam said. “And that’s why I work my butt to be able to keep my family name and inheritance. But, you know, there are many UPS, you know, it’s great to be in business with my father, who is again, my father, I have known him all my life. And be able to share many experiences, whether going to a master’s goal.”
Not only does Sam continue that inheritance in the present, but it is helping to set up the company for the years ahead, even if indirectly.
“You are watching a boy-word and looking at the band, right?” Bob said, showing Sam. “The biggest thing in the world is that Sam has two sons. So now you are watching Sam’s oldest son is 7 years old and his youngest is 1.
“So now you are looking at another generation coming, and again, it’s a family -owned company. And so you can only imagine that during many other years coming, we will continue to continue and hope to have something every year for people to enjoy.”
