Call it “Let Return!”
In a surprise notice, or perhaps not giving her Mercury personality, Alizé Cornet revealed that she will return to tennis after retirement last year.
Cornet, 35, announced that she plans to compete in the upcoming Open CapFuen Métropole event in France.
It would be her first tournament since she officially retired in Roland Garros last year again in May 2024 after a first round loss to China Qinwen zheng.
“You thought you were saved from me, it’s not yet the case! So, so you could soon be excited again together,” Cornet said in a statement on the tournament website.
