Most fans tend to name legendary fighters Sachin Tendulkar or Viv Richards as their favourites, Ambrose offered a different perspective and reckoned Pakistani icon Wasim Akram was his favourite.
“Yeah, I sometimes feel like 90% of fans choose tattoos” Ambrose noted.
“I have played with some of the best batsmen in the world, but being a bowler, I will always lean towards the bowler. We had very good boulderers and Wasim Akram was one of my favorites. he added.

During the interaction, Ambrose was asked if any hit during his playing career gave him sleepless nights. His answer was simple but revealing.
“Nobody”, Ambrose said confidently.
“I have played cricket with some seniors, but I never thought about cricket after leaving the ground. I had to go back to the field to do my work until morning. So, when it comes to sleepless nights, absolutely no one.” Ambrose concluded.
