Bruno Surace says he wants to prove that his previous victory over super -mid -weight contender Jaime Munguia was no wave when he faced him on this Saturday 3 May Dazn ppv On the bottom map of Canelo Alvarez against William Scull at the venue in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Surace (26-0-2, 5 food) knocked out Munguia (44-2, 35 COs) in the sixth round on December 14 last year in Tijuana, Mexico. Munguia’s promoters chose him for having a flashy, unbeaten record, and he was thought to be a definite victory. He surprised Jaime by showing better power than his promoters expected.
Prove it again
Earlier this year, Munguia was a grueling battle against Canelo on May 4, and it may have taken something out of him. He lost with a unanimous 12 -round decision against Alvarez and was dropped. The struggle may have had something to do with how Munguia was wiped out by Surace because he had to take his power.
