Our topics:

1. It 2026 ASICS LA Marathon It was a very close finish for the men, in the men’s finish and 27,000 plus starters in the 41st year.

2. High school cross country coach Nathan Greene won by .01 in 2:11:18. Michael Kamau Kenya was in the lead, tired and pulled off the track with 400 meters to go. Some believe it was the difference between his defeat and eventual victory.

3. Jacob Kiplimo Ran 57:20 in Lisbon for a possible half marathon world record of 57:20. Tsige Gebreselama won the women’s race in 1:04:48.

4. Emmanuel CaralisGRE, a week after his stunning 6.17 m (20 ft, 2.25 in) pole vault, #2 ever, cleared 6.06 m. Sondre Gutormsen, NOR, also 6.06m PB and NR for Norway and Curtis Marshall, 6.01m, Australia’s #2 vaulter. This was at the Perche Elite de Rouen on Saturday. Molly Codery cleared 4.70m for the women’s win.
