Wimbledon’s first week is in books and the 16th round begins on Sunday. Before looking forward, let’s get some of the numbers that determined the week of one of the championships.
8 – For Eigth year in a row, Wimbledon will be crowned for the first time for women’s bachelors. Champion Protection Barbora Prekikova and 2022 champion Elena Rybakina were each eliminated on day 6.
100 – Be defeating Miomir Kecmanovic in the third round, Novak Djokovic achieved his 100th Wimbledon victory and becomes the third player who achieved that number of single wins after Martina Navratilova (120) and Roger Feder (105).
36 – The number of seeds that failed to reach the third round, mostly since Wimbledon introduced 32 seeds over two decades ago, and mostly in any collision in that space as well.
20 – The number of seeds that reached in round 16.
8 – A record in total eight players of the Top -10 seed leaving in the first round – mostly on every big tour from the beginning of the open era in 1968.
7 – Number of Top-10 seeds that reached the round of 16-Nr. Sabalenka, no.1 Sinner, No.2 Alcaraz, No.5 Fritz, No.6 Djokovic, No.7 Andreeva, No.10 Navarro.
17 – Carlos Alcaraz extends his winning belt to seventeen in Wimbledon, and enters the second week with his hopes with three live peat.
143 – The ranking of Nicolas Jarry, the lowest rank player to reach the 16th. 104 Laura Siegemund Rangut Rangut is the lowest rank on the women’s side.
8 – Emma Navarro has won eight of her latest three-settlers in Major.
13 – Aryna Sabalenka has won the 13 consecutive links at all levels.
1 – Number of qualifiers to reach the second week. Nicolas Jarry.
1 – The number of lucky losers to reach the second week – Solana Sierra of Argentina.
4 – The number of players listed outside the 100 first to reach the 16th round: Solana Sierra, Laura Siegemund, Nicolas Jarry and Kamil Majchrzak.
100 – Grigor Dimitrov achieved the winners of Triple Digit Grand Slam and reached the 16th round in Wimbledon for the third year in a row.
153 – The fastest ever -recorded service speed, hit by Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard of France in the first round against Taylor Fritz.
