Money conversations
Turki Alalshikh mentions that he wants to match former champion Artur Berbiev against Biblical in a trilogy. However, Biblical and his promoters, Eddie Hearn and Frank Smith, have other ideas. They all want to be Canelo or whatever pay the best. It comes down to what Turki wants, because he is the one who will pay to feed these battles.
Canelo is not a serious possibility because he no longer takes risky battles. Although he would take the re -broadcast with Biblical, it would not be financially worthwhile, as he would probably want as much or more as he was paid for his September 13 match against Terence Crawford.
At this point in his career, Alvarez is essentially easy fighting for money, and he has not had a strict test since his loss of Biblical in 2022. Canelo and his management consider the fight as a mistake. Biblical looked weak in his recent competitions against Umar Salamov and Craig Richards. He seems to have been an easy mark.
