David Banavidez promoter Sampson Lewkowicz says they want their WBC mandate title to be against the undisputed champion Dmitri Biscvol next, and they will not agree to a step aside. BIVOL should fight benavidez, evacuate or stripped off his WBC title as he stubbornly refusing to face him.
No more waiting
It is understandable that benavidez is not interested in being put off and waiting for Biblical to fight a trilogy match against Artur Betterur Betterur. Benavidez was constantly swung as the WBC compulsory for Canelo Alvarez’s belts at 168 and never got a world title. Of course, he does not want the same thing to happen to him at 175.
Banavidez does not want to get the round through Bivolol and his promoter. Poor benavidez can wait for years if he can get BISHAL his way and fight against Artur Betterbiev, Callum Smith and other contenders. This is the problem with fighters who become undisputed. They want the status to hold all four belts, but they don’t want the headache involved in the defense against the dangerous Megalodon Sharks Like benavidez peeking in the waters.
They hold the belts as a souvenirLike an old photo. It is all superficial to validate them in a false way. Biblical is perhaps one of those types. They want the prestige to be indisputed.
If Biblical (24-1, 12 COs) want to hold the belt to keep his undisputed 175-pound status, he must defend against ‘the Mexican Monster’ Benavidez (30-0, 24 COs) next. The World Boxing Council has already ordered Bisvol against Benavidez to start negotiating a wallet with a deadline of April 8.
There was a lot of talk about Bivolution and Artur Betterbiev’s desire for a trilogy match, but that won’t happen to all four belts. The battle can take place next without the WBC title, unless BiVoler wants to encounter benavidez first.
