Abhishek, who was in great form, helped India A get off to a strong start by scoring 35 runs off 22 balls. However, his innings came to an abrupt end when he tried to aggressively bowl Mugeem. After mis-timing his delivery, he offered a leading edge caught by Qasim Akram and dismissed Abhishek immediately after the power play for 1 in 68 against India.
After the wicket, Mugeem made a ‘shut up gesture’ at Abhishek, which did not go down well with the Indian opener.
