Waseem and Tom Banton found in a critical communication error. Face to face Dushmantha Chameera‘s back of a length, Waseem defended the ball towards the bowler. Chameera lost and the ball rolled towards mid-off. Chaos ensued.

Initially unsure, Waseem called for a quick single, but Banton hesitated and decided against it, leaving Waseem stranded at mid-on. Standing at mid-on, Raza collected the ball quickly and hit the stumps at the striker’s end with a precise shot, catching Wasim short of his crease.
This exceptional effort by Raza not only showcased his athleticism and accuracy, but also gave Dubai Capitals a much-needed boost in their power play.
