Saransh’s dismissal of Sarfaraz was part of a brilliant bowling performance as the spinner scored a six in the second innings. However, his heroism was not enough to change the outcome of the match. Mumbai’s dominance in the first innings had already put them out of reach.

Mumbai’s first innings lead
Mumbai’s victory was ensured by a lofty first innings total of 537, led by a sensational double century from Sarfaraz. His 200+ knock was the cornerstone of Mumbai’s batting display which gave them a significant lead of 121 runs. For rest of India, pacer Mukesh Kumar He stood out, scoring five wickets and providing the only real challenge to Mumbai’s batting line-up.
In reply, Rest of India posted a fighting score of 416 in their first innings. In their second innings, Mumbai continued to pile on the runs and finished with 329 for 8 at the close of play.
