The Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026 I witnessed a moment that instantly went viral Lizelle Lee created an ugly catch to dismiss Radha Yadav during a collision between Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women and Delhi Capitals Women. The superb effort summed up Delhi’s sharpness in the field and halted a dominant bowling display that saw RCB pile up their lowest total in Women’s Premier League history.
Lizelle Lee takes a brilliant catch to dismiss Radha Yadav
The decisive moment came on the third ball of the 17th ball Chinelle Henry. With RCB already under pressure, Radha attempted an audacious uppercut on a short delivery hoping to ease the tension. Instead, he ran a thick fringe.
What followed stunned fans and players alike. Lizelle, standing in front of the stumps, reacted in an instant. The ball flew towards his face, but Lee showed exceptional reflexes and safely deflected it off his nose. A crowd erupted as Radha returned knowing she had landed on something really special. It wasn’t just a wicket – it was a statement of intent from Delhi.

Delhi bowlers suffocated RCB from the start
While Lee’s catch dominated the highlight reels, the foundation for Delhi Capitals’ dominance had been laid earlier. Marizanne Kapp and Chinelle Henry found new ball magic, producing movement and bounce on a difficult surface. RCB were never allowed to settle, the boundaries dried up and the pressure mounted from the first over.
Smriti Mandhana kept her composure and looked to anchor the innings, but her dismissal soon after the first time-out tipped the balance in Delhi’s favour. From there, the covers fell at regular intervals, struggling to find time or rhythm.
Amid the chaos, Radha stood out as one of the few RCB batsmen who looked comfortable at the crease. He converted the shot smartly and showed intent without being reckless. However, his dismissal in the 17th over – courtesy of Lee’s brilliance – effectively ended RCB’s hopes of a push towards a competitive total.
RCB were eventually bowled out for 109, well below par and their lowest this season. It reflected not only individual brilliance but also a collective failure to adapt to circumstances.
