A moment of magic from Kagiso Rabada
It all happened in the 12th over of Joburg Super Kings’ innings. Rabada bowled a brilliant leg-cutter that landed perfectly and fell sharply, leaving Bairstow in all sorts of trouble. The shot squared off as the ball went outside enough to beat his defense and hit the stumps.
Rabada’s delivery was a masterpiece – quick, deceptive and unplayable. Bairstow, 14 off 14 balls with one four and a six, was undone by sheer quality of delivery.
After his dismissal, Rabada celebrated with his trademark intensity, pumping his fists in the air as he received the crowd’s applause.
