Washington Sundar is hit by a brilliant delivery from Nathan Lyon in the Perth Test


Indian National Cricket Team all-rounder Washington Sundar played a vital role for his team in the ongoing first Test against the Australian National Cricket Team. The opening match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 is being played at the Optus Stadium in Perth.

Indian National Cricket Team took complete control of the game and made Australia National Cricket Team look crazy in their backyard. One crucial hand for the visitors came from the bat of all-rounder Washington Sundar.

Washington Sundar, who came into bat at 7, looked extremely solid at the crease and gave great support to Virat Kohli. The all-rounder turned the strike quite well and also played some brilliant knocks which gave the Indian National Cricket Team a huge advantage.

Washington Sundar looked in terrific touch as he defended the ball well and would get a big score the way he went. He was out in an attempt to up the ante when Nathan Lyon bowled a peach to get the all-rounder out and take the second wicket of the innings.

Washington Sundar tries a big shot but the ball falls well in front of him as he is forced to reach in front of the body. The all-rounder failed to make contact and the ball hit the upper middle. He was left sitting on his back knee in frustration.
