There is a difference, my friends, between a true minimalist golf and a I want minimalist golf.
A true minimalist understands that the primary function of a golf bag is to hold your clubs as you carry them around the course. A quirky minimalist, on the other hand, talks the talk but is too addicted to comfort metaphorically, not to mention literally, walks the walk.
I’ve been both in my lifetime but, over the years, I have to accept a trend towards ease.
Despite this, I must also admit to longing for simpler times, younger days and the basic belt bag of my youth.
The legs? We don’t need stinky feet.
Such bags are out there. Jones makes a nice one like Penfold, while MacKenzie makes an expensive one. I’m sure there are plenty of others.
from today ship, that little old bag maker from Southern California is joining the parade with the new Sunday Carry bag.

Sunday Ship Baggage
You kids today have it so easy.
In my day, if we wanted to play golf, we had to walk 18 holes.
Up.
Both nine.
In two feet of snow.
In July.
Pushchair? it’s you crazy? Rich kids had attract carts but the rest of us? We had to pack, stick and carry everything we needed on our backs. If you couldn’t make it, you shouldn’t have come.
It was golf as Old Tom Morris intended.

If you’re that old-school type of golfer, the new Vessel Sunday Carry Bag is right up your alley. At just 2.3kg, it’s pretty light and only has the essentials for the pockets, so you’re not tempted to load it up with crap you don’t need.
And it is too of the ship The first trolley-less bag made without legs. After all, true minimalists put their bag on the ground.
Legs are for humps.
Facts, figures and prices
Jokes aside, the new Vessel Sunday Carry bag is for true minimalists. Since it is one The shipyou can be sure that the company is not taking any shortcuts. It’s made from durable premium 430D polyester, a water-resistant material that hits the sweet spot between strength and weight. As is the ship’s way, all accents and touch points are genuine leather, and the sole strap is padded and features dual D-ring attachments.

The Vessel Sunday Carry Bag has velor-lined dividers and is designed to fit a full set of 14 clubs. Yes, I know it’s not true minimalism, but remember that 14 clubs is a limit, not a goal. Vessel also says the bag has a “self-imposed design.” We’re not sure what that means, other than it can be folded into a compact footprint for easy storage.
The new Vessel Sunday Carry bag is available starting today. The price is a very unaffordable $199.00.
