The main duo of Rory Mcilroy and Shane Lowry arrived at the 18th green Saturday in Zurich, withdrew from the course for a weather-induced lunch break and then returned to exactly one more blow: a 35 pedestrian for Eagle, Mcilroy poured into the center of the cup, setting a cup of cup cup Round-Round-Roast-Round-Roast-Shot-Shot, which would display defined champions, as well as a well-known competition.
How about that preparation before-eagle?
“I think the secret is not thinking about it in those 90 minutes,” Mcilroy said. “We had a little lunch and we were looking at some of the highlights from last year and we were talking where we would go for dinner tonight. The last thing in my mind was the blow, and then once I came back there, I focused on it and made sure I did what I had to do – and just a bonus to get inside.”
It has been a two -week bonus for Mcilroy, who has been making his first appearance since he won the masters two weekends ago. As Lowry said in after their round Interview at CBS: “If he is not quiet and happy now, he will never be.”
The duo did not reveal Saturday evening dinner plans, though Mcilroy scored from Gautreau and Arnaud as two stops they returned this year after last year’s triumph. How about Sunday’s strategy?
“We just try to have fun. I think that’s the most important thing,” he said. “As long as we continue to have fun there, this will be the best way for us to get the best out of ourselves.”
Here’s what else you need to know about the last round in Zurich Classic:
management
Andrew Novak has been approaching and closer to the PGA Tour’s victory – approaching as much as a loss of Play off Justin Thomas to last week’s RBC Heritage. Now he and the partner Ben Griffin, Anyone who is also following his first career victory, keep the full lead with three after Saturday 61.
Zamire
Jake KNAPP and Frankie Capan III He shot the low round of the day on Saturday, combining a 60 best ball that reached them on 24 under and a part of the second place.
“To associate with the boy you are playing with is really important,” Knapp said. “Especially if you hit a couple of bad shots, whatever, it’s good to know that your partner doesn’t mean bad things to you or getting mad at you, and we’re always bending one -other on the back.”
They are related to the Japanese duet of Ryo Hisatsune AND Kanaya takumi, who shot 61. Isaiiah Salinda AND Beautiful kevin are one further shot at 23 under par.
Gemini
Rasmus and Nicolai Højgaard Shot “JUST” with eight under 64 years old on Saturday, losing some ground in their competition. But they are square in the mixture on 23 under the first, as each follow their first victory in PGA Tour – and show the European captain of Ryder Cup Luke Donald that they play well together. Both always have a smiling gift, but after Saturday’s round they hit a diligent tone.
“Always is always good to have someone next to you who have a back,” Rasmus said. “I think there is a lot of confidence and confidence in each other. Yes, I’m glad I have Nicolai near me playing tomorrow.”
The main titles
Then there are Mcilroy and Lowry leading a contingent on 22 under principle that also includes teams of Cam davis AND Adam Svenson as well as Luke List AND Henrik Norlander.
But there is a LOT of left golf; It is worth noting that last year’s runners, Martina’s coach AND Chad Ramey, fired an alternative to the final round 63 to catapult the manager’s board.
“Alternative blow is a completely different bald,” said Nicolai Højgaard. “Sundayn Sunday coming out of the stretch and will be fun. Yes, we are looking forward to it.”
