The main duo of Rory Mcilroy and Shane Lowry arrived at the 18th green Saturday in Zurich, withdrew from the course for a weather-induced lunch break and then returned to exactly one more blow: a 35 pedestrian for Eagle, Mcilroy poured into the center of the cup, setting a cup of cup cup Round-Round-Roast-Round-Roast-Shot-Shot, which would display defined champions, as well as a well-known competition.
How about that preparation before-eagle?
“I think the secret is not thinking about it in those 90 minutes,” Mcilroy said. “We had a little lunch and we were looking at some of the highlights from last year and we were talking where we would go for dinner tonight. The last thing in my mind was the blow, and then once I came back there, I focused on it and made sure I did what I had to do – and just a bonus to get inside.”
It has been a two -week bonus for Mcilroy, who has been making his first appearance since he won the masters two weekends ago. As Lowry said in after their round Interview at CBS: “If he is not quiet and happy now, he will never be.”
The duo did not reveal Saturday evening dinner plans, though Mcilroy scored from Gautreau and Arnaud as two stops they returned this year after last year’s triumph. How about Sunday’s strategy?
“We just try to have fun. I think that’s the most important thing,” he said. “As long as we continue to have fun there, this will be the best way for us to get the best out of ourselves.”
