India’s all-rounder Virat Kohli brought a special vibe and energy to the three-match ODI series against Australia, starting on October 19.
Kohli is set for his much-anticipated return to international cricket after a seven-month hiatus. He last played for India in the 2025 Champions Trophy final. The former skipper trained in England, Australia before joining the uncapped Indian squad.

Virat Kohli stole the spotlight during India’s practice session at the Pertus Stadium in India. The 36-year-old was in a playful mood, laughing with teammates like ARSHDEEP Singh, KL Rahul, Axar Patel, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Dhruv Jurel.

In a video shared by X (formerly known as Twitter) STAR sports, Kohli once again showcased the fun side of his personality. Cain emulated others with a veteran bent while training under Gautam Gambhir and T. Dilip before another Odi clash.

Kohli will be looking to make an impact against Australia’s formidable bowling line-up, which can challenge him, especially during the early stages of his innings.

Virat Kohli has now retired from T20IS and Tests. It will be available only in Odi format for India. Billion became the second highest run-getter during the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, scoring 218 runs in five matches.
