Kohli’s focus remains only on ODIS

After retiring from T20IS after India’s World Cup victory and stepping away from Test Cricket earlier this year, Kohli has now turned his attention to one-day internationals (ODIS). The former India captain aims to guide the next generation of players while maintaining their world-class standards in the 50-over format.

Kohli was last seen during India’s three-match Odi series AustraliaClosed on October 25. Despite recording back-to-back ducks in the first two games, the veteran batsman showed his trademark resilience in the final match at the Sydney Cricket Ground. There, he hit an obbleateateated 74 from 74 to 74, steering India to a commanding nine-wicket victory.

Although India eventually lost 2-1, Kohli’s innings served as a reminder of his ability to bounce back under pressure and sustained hunger pangs even after 16 years of international cricket.
